DAWN BROOKS – PRINTMAKER

Dawn Brooks’ monochrome prints are stark, intimate and expressive, combining drypoint etching, collagraph and drawing processes.Fragment Series uses composite plates to construct each image. The central motif is explored repeatedly, with each drawn mark being disrupted where the individual printing plates meet.

This installation of drawings enables the works to interact with one another, creating an environment which accentuates their physical presence.
